Cleaning Team
Do you send different people every time?
We believe consistency is key, so we do our best to send the same team each time. However, if someone is sick or on leave, we’ll send a different team member to ensure your home receives the care it deserves.
Is There Anything I Should Do Before You Arrive To Clean?
Relax and look forward to a sparkling clean home! Please secure any aggressive pets before our team’s arrival to ensure everyone’s safety.
What If I Don't Like The Way Something Is Done?
If something was missed or not up to your standards, please tell the cleaners while they are there, or let us know immediately so we can make notes for future cleanings. We suggest being present for the first few cleanings to ensure we understand your preferences.
How Do You Handle Special Cleaning Requests Or Specific Areas Of Concern In My home?
At Vanilla Cleaning Company, we understand that each home is unique and may have specific areas requiring extra attention or customized cleaning solutions.
Our team members are trained to adapt to different situations and address your particular needs. If you have any special cleaning requests or areas of concern, please let us know in advance, and we will ensure that our team is prepared to handle them accordingly.
Scheduling and Arrival Times:
When will the cleaning team arrive?
Our teams strive to stick as closely to the scheduled start times as possible because we know that your time is valuable! However, please bear in mind that the arrival time may vary slightly due to factors like traffic or if our team members need to spend a little extra time at a previous job to handle a special request.
What if I can't be home when your team arrive to clean?
No problem at all! Many of our clients trust us with a key or alarm code to access their home when they’re not present.
We take security seriously, so rest assured that all keys are securely marked and stored securely.
If you don’t provide a key and aren’t available to let the team in, a lock-out charge may apply.
What if I need to reschedule or skip my regular cleaning?
We realize that life gets busy and sometimes things happen requiring you to move things around. We ask that you please let us know in advance, so we can change our team member’s schedules and arrange for an alternative time and date for your cleaning.
Availability for rescheduling is not guaranteed.
We allow one skipped cleaning for routine clients, per four (4) months at no charge reserved for vacations, time off or emergencies.
If more than one cleaning visit is canceled within four (4) consecutive months of service or you cancel on the day of the cleaning service, fifty percent (50%) of the bill due for the service that would have been performed will be applied and passed to our maids.
Payment
When Is Payment Due? How Should I Pay?
To make things as smooth as possible, we require a credit card on file, which is charged on the 1st of each month for that month’s services in full.
For one time clients or move out cleanings the credit card is charged after the cleaning service. A deposit might be held to complete reservation.
If a credit card is declined and we don’t receive an alternative payment method within 10 days, a $50 late fee will be applied.
We’re more than happy to discuss alternative payment options if needed.
Do I Need To Give A Tip To The Cleaners?
If you feel that your cleaning team has done an exceptional job, a tip can be a great way to thank them for their effort.
However, rest assured that our team is properly compensated and committed to delivering excellent service regardless of gratuity.
Do You Offer Any Discounts Or Promotions?
Yes, we periodically offer discounts and promotions. Please check our website or contact us directly for current offers.
